Susan M. Holt graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota in 1996. She completed her law school education at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she received her law degree in 1999.  Susan received the "Cali Excellence For The Future Award" from William Mitchell College of law in 1998 for receiving top honors for the highest score in Lawyering Skills class and the "Cali Excellence For The Future Award" again in 1999 for receiving top honors for the highest score in Creditor/Debtor class.  Susan currently has her own law firm in Litchfield, Minnesota and practices in a variety of areas with an emphasis in family law.  Susan has taught classes in family law at the Minnesota School of business.   She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers, the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce and she is also very involved with her family and her community. 

Mediator:

Susan M. Holt has received family law mediation training from the Erickson Mediation Institute, (EMI), in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received training in Civil Mediation and Victim/Offender Mediation from Hamline University Law School's Dispute Resolution Institute. Susan has also received family law mediation training from the Collaborative Law Institute. Due to the importance of mediation, Susan continues to keep up her mediation skills, and she is a certified Rule 114 qualified neutral.
